Vaxholm Municipality (Vaxholms kommun) is a municipality within Stockholm archipelago in central Sweden. The municipal slogan is "Vaxholm – the capital of the archipelago", due to its central locatation in the archipelago. The seat is located in the town Vaxholm.

64 islets are in the municipality, and also a part of the Bogesundslandet mainland.
