The Cringe is an American rock band. Its members are lead singer John Cusimano, lead guitarist Rob Levin, drummer Shawn Pelton, and bassist Matt Powers.

The band's first studio album, Scratch the Surface, yielded the singles "Burn" and "Been Alone,".

Its second studio album, released February 20, 2007,.[1] Tipping Point, was picked up by Sony Music's independent-rock division, Red Label.

John Cusimano is married to Food Network celebrity Rachael Ray.
