Information about Vladivostok Air
Vladivostok Air (also Vladivostok Avia; Russian: Владивосток Авиа) is an airline based in Vladivostok, Russia. It operates scheduled domestic flights and international flights to China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. VIP flights and helicopter services are also provided. Its main base is Vladivostok International Airport (VVO).
Code Data
History
The airline started operations in 1994 and in 2003 merged with Khakasia Airlines incorporating its fleet and route network. It is owned by the State (51%) and Vladivostok Air employees (48%).Destinations
Vladivostok Air operates the following services (at December 2006) :- Domestic scheduled destinations: Abakan, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Sochi, St Petersburg, Ufa, Yakutsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
- International scheduled destinations: Bangkok, Beijing, Busan, Dalian, Hanoi, Harbin, Niigata, Osaka, Seoul, Toyama, Tokyo and Kitakyushu.
Incidents and accidents
In July 2001, Vladivostok Air Flight 352, a Tupolev Tu-154 belonging to Vladivostok Air crashed while attempting to land in Irkutsk, Russia, killing all 145 people aboard [1].Fleet
