Pago Pago International Airport (IATA: PPG, ICAO: NSTU, FAA LID: PPG) is a public airport located three miles (5 km) southwest of the central business district of Pago Pago on the island of Tutuila in American Samoa, an unincorporated territory of the United States. The airport is owned by Government of American Samoa.[1]

Facilities and aircraft

Pago Pago International Airport covers an area of 700 acres (283 ha) which contains two runways:[1]
  • Runway 5/23: 10,000 x 150 ft. (3,048 x 46 m), Surface: Asphalt
  • Runway 8/26: 3,800 x 75 ft. (1,158 x 23 m), Surface: Asphalt
For 12-month period ending December 30, 2005, the airport had 14,043 aircraft operations, an average of 38 per day: 93% air taxi, 4% scheduled commercial, 2% military and 1% general aviation.[1]
