Muar Second Bridge or Jambatan Kedua Muar in the Malay language is a famous landmark in Muar, Johor, Malaysia. It crosses the Muar River.

History

Muar Second Bridge is built to overcome the traffic problems on Sultan Ismail Bridge. The idea of constructing the bridge was mooted in 1998. The bridge was constructed between March 2001 and June 2003. It was built by Public Works Department of Malaysia (JKR) while the main contractor was Ranhill Bersekutu Sdn Bhd.

Muar Secon Bridge is a 632 metre (-- feet) semi-harp cable-stayed bridge with a 132 metre (-- feet) mid-span across Muar River like the Sunshine Skyway Bridge at Tampa Bay, Florida in the United States. The bridge project also features a complex interchange at Parit Bunga.
