Meherpur is a district in South-western Bangladesh. It is a part of the Khulna Division.

Cottage industries

Weaving, garments, bamboo work, goldsmith, blacksmith, potteries, wood work, welding.

Main exports

Chilli, jute, tobacco, mango, banana, sweet potato, kachu, sugarcane molasses.

Land use
