"Identify" is a pop–ballad written by Billy Corgan and performed by Natalie Imbruglia for the Stigmata soundtrack (1999). The song was released only as a promo single, and was therefore ineligible to chart, although Imbruglia did film a music video for it which features on the Stigmata DVD. Dark and broody in style, the song is seen as a departure from Imbruglia's usual sound, and remains a fan favourite.
