Garfield Gets Real is an upcoming video game of the action genre for the Wii and the Nintendo DS video game consoles based on the upcoming direct to DVD CGI movie Garfield Gets Real starring Garfield the Cat, developed by Gravity-i and published by Zoo Digital in the United Kingdom, and by DSI Games in North America. The Wii version will be released on November 23, 2007 in the United Kingdom, and on November 2, 2007 in North America. The Nintendo DS version will be released on February 1, 2008 in the United Kingdom, and on November 2, 2007 in North America.[1]

Gameplay

In Garfield Gets Real you play as Garfield, but you can also play as the director by using props, lighting, sound effects and camera angles to make the action look as pretty as possible. The game uses the Wii Remote to make the game accessible to players of all skill levels and ages while still rewarding skilled players. The Clap-o-meter rewards players for humour, skill, use of props and sound effects. There are seven levels in the game which mimic the settings in the film, which also contain cutscenes from the movie. You are able to perform dance moves such as the moonwalk, drop splits, Kung Fu kicks, twists and a Dax Flame style hand swipe across the eyes. When completing the game your film will be rated, the rating can be B movie, second rate feature, a feature, Director’s cut or Special Edition. The game supports multiplayer to see which player can get the best reaction.[2]
