War, What Does "Winning" Mean?

War isn't always fought for the reasons we think or our told. The media is often a propanda tool. In regard to "winning" the war, how do we measure victory? Who are the real players and why is "winning" so important to them?

This is a war We must "win" Why must we win? How shall we win? When will we know We have won? Such rhetoric and grandstanding Is self-willed, ignorant, and dumb. Please hurry up God And let Thy kingdom come! Meanwhile neocons Try to get some Put their hands in the cookie jar Talk about global good Peddle fear and a pretext To steal and go far To the uttermost parts of the earth To nation build, restructure, and give birth To their economic aims and conquest Procure new pipelines Drag their feet and take time Give reasons, unattainable resolutions to problems While covertly working toward long-term occupation Meanwhile let Maliki meander in the mud Of American politics and maneuvering Mediocrity and profiteering While the civil war is raging Inhumane methods of war we're waging Abusive interrogation methods disparaging Diminishing one's human dignity Removing any sense of diplomacy As we lose the battle most necessary The struggle to change jihadists ideology Oh, but we are winning We are annihilating innocent people Destroying families homes Inciting anger with words Pinpointing and articulating the "axis of evil" Warning about more WMDs and nukes elsewhere Particularly in neighboring oil rich nations Hoping to bring about in an intensified escalation Regional penetration and domination In Iraq maximum chaos and confusion Then brother Bandar and the boys in Saud Can get involved and Bush Co can applaud. Saudi than can profit from war too Giving their unemployed something to do Sending Wahhabi jihadists to fight abroad Will be good for and protect the house of Saud too! Giving their homegrown terrorists someone else to attack They can send their new 72 BAE Eurofighters to Iraq Visit and help their minority Sunni brothers fire back And most importantly Enlarge their sphere of rulership in Arabia As they wait for cooperation with America The ace of spades set for the alley oop coup The chief agent of terror ready to invade No need for provocation We've now got al Qaeda and Bin Laden Left at large, they're the perfect scapegoat For going on the offensive After all the American people are fearful and apprehensive Protect us Dick, Donald, and George Correct and order for us a new world If necessary send cousin Marvin To provide both security and a casualty insurance company Because the removal of dictatorial Saddam Was no magic wand He proved to be but a pawn One formerly propped up by us Why than all of the fuss? We formerly supported the butcher of Baghdad Now we back a weak inactive Maliki Watching, waiting, and contemplating What his new colonial masters in America will do For without the U.S. of A he is through.

As for homeland security There has not been an attack on our soil since 9/11 Precisely because we only needed one To provide an adequate platform to export war As long as the geographical location is oil rich and sure Hurricane Katrina victims however don't register When it comes to securing the homeland Their needs are in their insurer's hands The Bush cabinet is focused afar on other lands Yet at home we're "winning" the war By reason of the crippling legislation we enact While putting our citizenry in a straight jacket TSA disrobing us and saying, "You can't take it." Liquids of any kind, airport security has lost its mind. Civil liberties are no longer important National security has become preeminent After all war without end is eminent Safety first is the battle cry of this President Oh really, than declassify the 9/11 Commission Report Particularly all info on Saudi and Bandar your buddy America at home has passed the Patriot Act Domestic intrusions have become a daily fact Be it by the CIA or compliments of the FBI Investigations are ongoing whether we live or die Isolated inner city unjust police brutality Discrimination, racial profiling, and criminality Yet our politicians pontificate and profess success statistically Don't fear my dear, defense shall be dominant Regime changes are coming to engineer energy self-sufficiency Keep the crude flowing for the American people eternally At reasonable prices to sustain the economy To keep the good ol oil barrens afloat financially As they serve up their Texas tea happily With as little ethanol as possible preferably Don't worry my dear, 2007 will be an unprecedented year Halliburton and Lockheed Martin will drink lots of beer The Bush cabinet will bring you gaiety and cheer Countless defense contracts. No lying here Just a clever international operation Imperial hubris with a new sensation Relax the vulcans have got authorization Their fall men are in place in case of any investigation This is about domestic spying and clandestine cooperation VP Cheney's chance for self-actualization Project for the New American Century Let us tell you how to live and be happy Donald Rumsfeld of the media made sport Prideful omissions and innocence we retort Continually covering up 9/11 reports While claiming to have the American people's Best interest at heart While at dissidents and conspiracy theorists we throw darts.

Laughing and leaving the foreign policy of the Founding Fathers We justify ourselves as we grossly depart Our new form of statecraft, a cunning art Choosing alternatively to employ and export military humanism Forget Great Britain, we've got our own form of colonialism. Nevertheless take rest Go to Disney Word, take a vacation Leave the war to us and alleviation Of every enemy and foe The blackballing of anybody who does know And dare to stand up to us and show The hidden truth to the general public For intel demands we all keep all quiet While we maneuver behind the scenes To build our military oil procurring machine As for this war, don't be in a rush After all mission has been accomplished By restructuring the flow of intel Cheney and Rumsfeld have ambushed National checks and balances Now they can go unhindered and make advances Without provocation militarily take chances Throw their weight around In any city, nation, or town.

Relax. Big brother will be sure to protect Simply trust and don't think to inspect Neither criticize nor reject That which you are told Don't listen to talking heads in the media Though they are brilliant and bold Always be submissive, reverent, and willing to listen Embrace every Presidential opinion After all the power is his Our own conclusions we must dismiss Most important is our positioning With Saudi Arabia's royal oil family Cheney's foreign policy advisers With whom he shared Thanksgiving leftovers Remember the 9/11 hijackers? They were Saudi passport holders. Now a former CIA officer is suing the VP The mastermind of Iraq, tact, and secrecy Who created false intelligence about WMDs Oh yes, this war we are winning indeed Never mind that US soldiers that die and bleed Of this oil our hawks have need For they have for a longtime lived Luxuriously, by reason of their greed Good positioning in corporation nation Misusing governmental power To align with the industrial war complex The CIA and NSA used for their vortex Fear peddlers and warmongers "The consequences of losing are enormous." Oh but we have already lost Hundreds of billions of dollars Not to mention irreplaceable human life To unnecessarily sustain global strife As for the exorbitant war expense Monies allocated for our pretense Taxpayer dollars which we could have used To help our own at home Provide adequate healthcare Show the homeless in New Orleans we care Increase the number of teachers in school Practice the golden rule Begin by showing kindness locally Before stretching ourselves elsewhere mindlessly We could have fed the impoverished needing food Reformed immigration instead of being rude Dealt with the national deficit Instead of frivolously disregarding and deepening it More aggressively pursue alternative energy Oops! I forgot. Concerning oil, we need much more Blood for oil, the key to perpetuate war lengthily For by it the powerful profit handsomely.

As for Bin Laden, the man rotten to the core To us he is of no interest anymore We've leveraged him fully Demonized him sensationally And now can pursue our plans globally Forget Bin Laden now. He is of no interest to us Nor was he ever. Shhh! Not so loud Woodward. Though operation curveball was clever Bin Laden is just an excuse To provide a pseudo context To provide ample cause To pursue other theatres of war Vilify the enemy, put your shoulder to the door Invade a nation. Initiate new oil exploration. Enlarge our influence internationally Sell American defense serendipitously Than throw your net across the map Create a prison planet and strap Us all with your burden Bring us all under your illuminati leadership Reduce us to humble servitude To exalt and obey you While you do what you want to Pardon us Cheney for Wolf's probing interview. Nevertheless when you do look up, it's nice to see you. At least Senator McCain is ready to go hard And send hundreds of thousands of more troops Oh yeah, that's too precise and clear. Oops! Less troops and uncertainty in Iraq is far better Leaving a gap and means for you by which to maneuver To in time align your true plan by grand design To unveil why presently you desire us to falter and fail Disregard characterizations and conclusions on Fox News For they obviously support refuse Promoting O.J.'s book was ample evidence of this too Yet at least you have a network on which to air Your political ideology, while showcasing military machinery Begin to build your Presidential library to secure your legacy Fight heartily and secure your newsworthy monopoly Be quick to dispel any allegation of propaganda or conspiracy By every means possible silence your opposers To ensure the ongoing party and uphold the posers No dissident tolerate or spare Just "win" the war on terror.
